THE NEW ME.... GOOD OLE FISH & CHIPS (DAY 46) - A gluten free, natural sugars, less alcohol diet

Cheeky seagulls in Portsmouth

Yet another super busy day in the Jones household.

Yesterday was a day of spring cleaning.  This time weeding the lever arch files of unwanted paperwork and having a good ole clean.  Usually I'd do one file at a time and perhaps spread it over a few days/weeks.  However, this time I did pretty much all of it in one go (just have one file to do), purely because they were annoying me.  After several hours I was done.

As it was a lovely day and we fancied some fresh air we went for a late lunch on The Hard, adjacent to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.  We shared fish, chips and curry sauce overlooking the water, Gosport and the famous HMS Warrior (the first iron-plated iron-hulled warship).  OK, so the batter wasn't gluten free, but it was lovely and light and we didn't eat it all as we game some to the seagulls.

Although chilly, it was so nice to be out in the sunshine, dry, instead of the usual rain that we've had over the past few months.

Returned home for Taff (better half) to watch the rugby while I watched a film on ITV iPlayer starring Minnie Driver, whilst doing some knitting.

Went to bed early but woke up super early so watched Diners, Drive-ins and Dives on TV with Taff, whilst I did a mountain of filing.

Returned to bed and had a lay in.

Have agreed with Taff that I'll add the honey to my mug of tea from now on - Taff makes better tea than me.  Taff doesn't do honey.
