Breakfast
Just woken up to thunder and lightening with a storm overhead. The gods are obviously angry at something... global warming perhaps?!It was a long day yesterday, busy and constructive. Managed to get organised with piles of fabric and paperwork. Took the sewing machine to the whisperers, and had a meeting with the bank manager for a review. Did some DIY for a client with Taff, me acting as the assistant. Had dinner and went out to the accounting moot. Just about managed to stay awake, fidgeting and yawning in my chair (apologies to the people sitting behind me). Although the lecturer was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, HMRC and payroll is enough to send anyone to sleep. I'm pleased I'm not a full time accountant anymore. So many rules and regulations, it's hard to keep track of it all. Came home, took a valerian tablet to help me sleep, although I didn't need it as I zonked out straight away and slept for 5 solid hours. Not a drop of alcohol touched my lips.
